Brent represents businesses, cities, and individuals in a broad range of civil litigation and litigation prevention matters. Throughout his legal career Brent has represented local, Dallas metroplex, and out-of-state businesses in a variety of litigation matters, including: contract disputes, real estate conflicts, employment matters, breach of fiduciary duties, deceptive trade practices, professional negligence, premises liability, construction defects, and a host of other business-related disputes. He has also represented individuals and families in civil litigation, probate litigation, will contests, guardianships, personal injury cases, and real estate matters.
Brent is a sixth-generation Hunt County, Texas resident and grandson of former Hunt County Commissioner, Justice of the Peace, fair board member, and local legend Merrick “Mickey” Money. He graduated from Greenville Christian School in 1996, and then attended Oklahoma Baptist University. After marrying his high school sweetheart, Heidi, he returned home to complete his college degree at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Before attending law school at Southern Methodist University, Brent was a science teacher at Greenville High School. Heidi works as a registered nurse at the Raffa Clinic. He has four children, Andrew, Adelle, Caroline, and Ian.
